Our second day over at the Summer Craft Event at Doncaster Race Course. Susy and I spent yesterday at a marathon Workshop lead by Stephanie Weightman and Nancy Watt.
It was extremely warm outside so many took their breaks outside overlooking the racecourse. A local lady gave me a potted history of the racecourse as we stood on the grandstand enjoyying the cooler air.
220 crafters sat at 22 tables to make 4 projects An extremely enjoyable event full of fun and friendship but we were left with a problem at the end. All equipment and materials that we had used were ours to keep and take home. What is the problem here? Well one item was a stack of 360 papers from K & Company which weighed rather a lot. Panic..... Would we be able to purchase anything over the next two days that would fit into our cases? Where there is a will, there is a way!
