A Special Birthday

I was asked by a friend to make a card for a neighbour who is soon to celebrate a very special birthday - her 80th.

This lady and her husband are the daytime "carers" for my friend's Chocolate Lab. They are affectionately known as grandma and granda to Sammy.

My brief was, quite simply, flowers.  The papers used are from a K & Company  12 by 12 pad that will last me until I'm 80, I'm sure!

The flowers were made using a Sizzix die which has earned its keep more than once. They were cut from handmade paper that I have had, and not used,  for a very long time.

My problem now is to make a box that will accommodate the depth of the finished card.

lovely card as usual Lilian. Have you got an Ultimate scoreboard ? This would make your box very easy to make ! Good luck !
