The Leaves are Falling

Autumn is well and truly here, although, by the way the Scottish Transport Minister was talking today, we need to get ready very soon for winter.  What is going on with our weather?

AUTUMN is the theme for this week's Less is More challenge
Before I go any further can I just say that I was very pleasantly surprised  and honoured to see (tonight) that my entry to the previous challenge had been chosen to be showcased. It is so easy to feel unworthy in such talented company.  It has given me a real boost...so thanks.

Now, I do worry that this is a bit "busy" to qualify as CAS card but I liked the layered leaves because they contrast so well with the Kraft base card.  It would have been rather dull if they had been omitted.  I also had to overcome the resistance to use so many of my buttons.  I've just got to let them go.

For the first time, I have been able to combine this challenge with CAS-UAL FRIDAYS

So..over the edge I went!

My biggest problem is that I lack a variety of sentiments.  Sometimes, using the computer is not practical. However, I am happy that this one was a relevant choice.

I've made good use of this free leaf stamp from The Craft Stamper magazine  The sentiment is from Hero Arts.  Inks are generally Distress Inks but I know that I used a little ink pad from Anna Griffin.

I only hope that it fits the envelope!
