A New Toy

Ok... not a toy ....but a new stamp.  I have been playing with it so it could, technically, be a toy!!??  I have used it to "play" along with the CAS-ual Fridays challenge which is...

Create a Clean And Simple project that is black and white plus one color of your choice.

I went out to our local craft shop today - The Papeterie - with the intention of buying a wreath stamp by Chloe but the promised order (from the manufacturer) had not arrived so I had a look for the Stampendous postcard stamp that we had used at a craft evening there.  Unfortunately there were some in stock....so ...it was fate.

Here, I have just stamped the image, used a Promarker (poppy) to fill in the oval frame, mounted the stamped image onto red card then on to a card blank.

This is a fabulous stamp.  The detail is amazing and I know that it will become a firm favourite and that you will definitely see it again.
