What a beautiful day

Well, this is more like it. Fantastic weather........for today! We will probably pay for it tomorrow with torrential downpours. Never mind I will appreciate what is. With this in mind I will make this a quick post so that I can get out into the garden.

I will not apologise for using the poppies digital stamp again for another challenge. I love it so much. This time it is as a submission to the Dare You 2 Digistamp Challenge 42. (The work on this blog is as absolutely awesome - from the design team to the challenge entries. Such talent.) I am also entering it into the Paper Romance Challenge 7. Both of these require the inclusion of stitching so out came the sewing machine. My middle son has a pair of trousers to be repaired so I will do that too today. And it will give me the motivation to make the couple of cushions that I have been putting off.

The black card has been embossed using a Cuttlebug folder.

Materials used:
Digi Stamp- Poppies Stamping Sketcher
Card candy - Craftwork Cards
Sentiment - HOTP
Embossing folder Cuttlebug dots
Ribbon

Black and red card. gingham backing paper - from my paper mountain

A stunning card - the black and white gingham looks perfect with the image, and the layout is totally classy. Thanks for joining in the fun at DU2DS this fortnight.
