One Layer with Foliage

I am trying to compose this post with my youngest son interrupting by giving me very frequent updates as to Andy Murray's progress in the US Open ---- I will soldier on.  (I, myself, can't bear to watch.)

I have decided to deviate from my usual 6" by 6" (or metric equivalent) card shape.  I have gone for DL size for this card that I have made for the Less is More 84 challenge.

At first the word "foliage" brought to mind my sets of Tapestry peg stamps.  I tried a design out on copy paper before trying out a couple of stamps from an Inkadinkado set which also fitted the bill.

I went with the latter:

I used 3 stamps from this set - the base stamp , the corn stamp and the butterfly. All of these were stamped using an Encore Purple Metallic ink.

The sentiment is Hero Arts and is stamped using Adirondack Slate ink.

This is lovely! I like how a little of the card base shows around the base of the images. Super job!
Thanks so much
