My last make took quite a bit of time and effort to complete so I have taken a breather before embarking on my next commisioned piece. It will be a word scrapbook for an 18th birthday.
This card didn't take long as I had already made the topper from a digistamp purchased from Mo's Digital Pencil. I have three sons and, although I wouldn't swap them for the world, I often wonder what it would be like to have a daughter like one of these characters. Mo is a children's book illustrator and captures the essence of teenage girls perfectly.
I used my Promarkers to colour the image and I think that I am beginning to get to grips with the technique of subtle shading. ( On reflection, I don't think that you get red Ugg boots!!)
