I have had the pleasure of helping with crafty end of things for a friend's daughter's wedding which will take place towards the end of the month. I printed the invitations which the bride to be and her sister then added embellishments....then there was the sewing of 27 metres of bunting. I forgot to photograph the end result (too tired) but I will wait and get a pic when it is insitu. At the moment, I am nearly finished making pearl bracelets for the bride and bridesmaids and also a bracelet and necklace for the mother of the bride. When this is done, I will use my Silhouette to cut the place names for the tables. I am always grateful when my friends involve me in the wedding preparations of their offspring. It is a great opportunity to get the creative juices flowing.
Still on the subject of weddings, this is a card that I made for the friend mentioned in the previous post.
I CASED it from one that I saw on Pinterest for an engagement card. It was made using material and stitching. I used vellum with a roses pattern and a fine line pen. The sentiment was printed from the computer. ( I will try to find the card that I cased this from to give credit.... I get so lost on Pinterest....hours pass me by without noticing... my latest addiction)..
